We read everything sent here. If something is broken, tell us what you were doing when it happened and we will get back to you.
Below are the questions that come up most, with the actual answer rather than a pointer to another page.
Reporting someone
Open their profile and use Report or Block at the bottom of the screen. Reporting offers blocking in the same step.
We act on reports within 24 hours. Reports reach us the moment they are filed, not on a schedule.
Blocking works both ways. If either of you has blocked the other, neither sees the other's posts, replies, reactions, profile details or photo, and neither can send the other anything. You can manage or undo blocks in Settings → Blocked Users.
You can also email us directly about anything you would rather not report in-app.
Your data
How do I export everything I've logged?
Settings → Your Data → Export My Data. It writes every meal, workout and weigh-in to CSV files and hands them to the share sheet.
This is free and always will be. It is not limited to what the app is currently showing, and it does not require a subscription.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete Account.
It deletes your logs, targets, posts, replies, reactions, profile, discovery listing, shared items, saved routines, programmes, subscription record and your profile photo. It cannot be undone, so export first if you want a copy.
One thing it cannot remove: an item you shared with a friend who accepted it is in their library now, and stays there.
Targets and calculations
The app won't calculate my calorie targets
It needs your date of birth, height and current weight. Without all three the calculation cannot run, and this is the single most common cause.
Fill in anything missing under Settings → Profile, and log a weigh-in if you have not yet. Targets appear straight afterwards.
If you created your account early in the app's life, some of these may be blank even though you entered them during setup — an old bug lost them on the way to the server. Re-entering them fixes it permanently.
My calorie target is set to maintenance and I can't lower it
Maintenance means your target matches what you burn — you are not being asked to eat less or more. The app holds targets at maintenance in four situations:
- You are under 18.
- You told us during setup that you have a history of disordered eating.
- You have been running a deficit for 12 weeks. This is a pause, not a permanent state.
- You logged symptoms that we treat as a reason to pause.
This is enforced on our servers, so it is not something the app can be talked out of, and there is no override. If you think it is applying to you in error, email us — and if it is because a date of birth was entered wrongly, you can correct that under Settings → Profile.
Why doesn't the app have streaks?
Deliberately. Consistency is measured as a percentage over a rolling window instead, so a rest day or a week off does not erase anything you have built. Nothing in the app is designed to be lost.
Apple Health
Steps or workouts aren't syncing
Check permissions in the Health app → Sharing → Apps → WeightCraft Raw, and make sure steps, sleep and workouts are enabled.
The app reads four things from Apple Health: steps, sleep, workouts, and the active energy on a workout. It never writes anything to Apple Health, and it asks for no permission to do so.
If you turn Health access off, the rest of the app keeps working — step counts and imported workouts simply stop updating.
Friends and profiles
I can't see a friend's profile photo
Photos are visible to accepted friends only. Everyone else sees initials. That includes people who have sent you a request but whom you have not accepted yet.
If you were friends and now see initials, either the friendship ended or one of you has blocked the other.
Someone I don't know can see my posts
That happens only if Discoverable is turned on in your profile settings. With it on, your posts appear in the Discover feed to people who are not your friends, and your profile appears in the member directory.
Turn it off under Edit profile and both stop immediately.
Can I message someone directly?
No. There are no direct messages in this app. You can reply to a friend's post, and replies are visible to everyone who can see that post.
Subscription
What does it include?
Monthly analysis reports, 24 additional training programmes, in-workout tools (rest timer, plate calculator, warm-up sets), building your own programmes, and accent colours.
Everything else — logging, your charts, your full history, CSV export, and every safety feature — is free and stays free.
How do I restore a purchase?
Settings → Premium → Restore, or the Restore button on the subscription screen. It checks with Apple and re-applies anything you have already bought.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Cancelling does not cut you off immediately — you keep everything you paid for until the end of the period you have already been billed for. Reports you received stay readable afterwards, and anything you created stays yours.
My monthly report says there isn't enough data
A report needs roughly 10 logged days in the period to say anything worth reading. Below that the app tells you instead of guessing.
If you have not had a report yet, this does not use up your free one.
Logging
I logged something with no signal — is it lost?
No. Meals, workouts and weigh-ins made offline are held on your device, shown with a Syncing marker, and sent as soon as you are back online.
If something still shows as syncing much later, tell us — do not log it a second time, or you will end up with two.
